Coprovore Terrarium Sewage Unit (To Replace Sepic Tanks or Entire Sewage system)
Tue, 08/10/2010 - 23:49 — AgreeToDisagreeIntroducing a terrarium form habitat with featuring solid waste eating slugs. Biologically natural and 100% green. Apart from the earlier mentioned open air method earlier suggested, we could also use :
(1) Slugs For Processing of Meat Waste & Solid Sewage
- solid waste be fed to coprovores like slugs
- when slug populations grow too large, they can be given (after a period of cleansing via 'clean' diet) to ducks or geese or any animals that eat slugs, these animals can be in turn eaten by humans
A small step makes a huge difference
Sun, 08/08/2010 - 10:07 — yinandsumWe can save the energy generated from walking in all busy subways and streets and transfer it to electricity. A small step can make a big difference.
Eco-Friendly Gyms
Tue, 07/27/2010 - 02:18 — Joe FrancyThis is a small concept i have in mind!
it is basicly to convert human running energy to electrical energy.....
Gyms are places were we find people running on thread mills, excercising cycles etc...
if we could place a dynamo for each of the excercising machines we could produce a huge amount of electricity since it is attained from a number of machhines!!!
Therefor we could transform normal gyms to electric Power houses!!!
Make Rain water harvesting a must for all houses and offices in urban cities.
Tue, 07/13/2010 - 06:36 — sujay007sjUrban cities in India are facing dual problems. Firstly they face acute shortage of water during first half of year and then there is flooding of streets during rainy seasons due to improper and inadequate drainage system. Some cities in India like New Delhi, Bangalore have incorporated rain harvesting policies in their state policies. However what remains a fact is that rain water harvesting is not widely acknowledged across most other major cities.
