Green Globe Community
Create a community (can use the existing one) in each country. This community need to buy land in each country using donations. Use this land to cultivate trees. In the next 10 years, the community should own 10% of land in each country and hence 10% of Earth. This also ensures that 10% of earth is always green. This being private property can be kept the way it is. But this need dedicated owners in each country who can manage the land and the trees.
This is a much workable solution.

Mon, 12/07/2009 - 17:45 — AnonymousI understand that we should be growing more plants and trees to help global warming, but I've been thinking of another way to help the world. I think we should build some kind of power plant to suck in all the harmful gases in the air and send them into space. My idea actually came from how they get rid of radon in houses. I also understand that plants need the CO2 but if we had a few of these plants set up in the cities were there is too much CO2. The system would be able to detect how much CO2 is in the air and vacuum as much of it as it can to make the air in the city stable. The air could be sucked into a vacuum tight container then shipped to space to be released. It's just an idea. I'm not a scientist, so I'm not sure if it would be possible, but it just came to me.

Sat, 01/09/2010 - 04:51 — AnonymousI don't think transporting air out into space will help us since sooner or later we will run out of air on the other hand saving only 10% of earth will backfire since on short term it is a good solution we people grow in numbers daily so if we only save 10% of earth it won't be enough to support our growing population
